Robert G. Saunders
Robert Saunders served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Hampton, Virginia, where he was responsible for prosecuting all levels of criminal charges and serious traffic offenses. Since entering private practice in 1997, he has continued to center his practice in litigation and trial work, focusing his experience as a prosecutor on defending those charged with criminal and traffic offenses.
A Newport News resident since 1986, Robert began his studies locally at Christopher Newport. Robert also attend the University of Virginia and graduated from Tulane University Law School. His longevity on the peninsula allows Robert many advantages in helping with your criminal and traffic violation case. He is familiar with the local area, the traffic patterns and communities, as well as the the people that comprise the Hampton Roads peninsula.
Mr. Saunders loves being in the court. He spends 4-5 days a week in court, energized by thinking fast and acting fast to fight on your behalf. A true student of the law, Robert keeps abreast of changes in current law and procedures while also retaining a thorough knowledge of case law and historic rulings to better argue your case.
